project background

“Sailing in/for another world”, this is the idea of Migrobirdo, association for the understanding between cultures. We are a group of young people, which is travelling with a sailing-boat from Germany to other countries, cultures and societies. On our way we get in touch with people, to get to know their lifestyle and so to work on a better understanding between cultures and exchange visions and practical skills. We participate in and organize fair-trade projects, basic-democratic communities, ecological & cultural events. We want to share our knowledge, ideas and skills and believe in the idea of self-organized lifelong learning and exchange.

Migrobirdo is a registerated association since 2006 in Germany.

Sailingboat Taube travelled from Germany 2008 to Iberia and will explore other Kontinets.
